LE1 - The Military Survey of Scotland 1747 - 1755
The map ordered by the Duke of Cumberland for the 'pacification' of the Highlands after Culloden. The original, surveyed and painted by William Roy, Paul Sandby and others, has never been printed and is in the British Library. We offer an extract from sheet 16, the Crieff area by courtesy of the British Library Board.
